I am married to a wonderful man who is a volunteer firefighter in our town for 20 years. I have 5 children all girls and just became a first time grandmother!!!

I really like to cook Mexican food, and comfort foods for my family.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Our biggest are around Christmas. We make Gumbo, boiled shrimp and potatoes and corn, fried shrimp and fried oysters on Christmas Eve and then for Christmas day, we make all kinds of Mexican foods from Tamales to Enchiladas to homemade salsas.
My cooking triumphs
Anytime my family says "Hey mom! Make that again" to a new recipe.

Way to many to name. I'm known for becoming distracted and burning dinner!
