Spaghetti Carbonara II
Loved this!It took a little longer than I thought it would but it could have been because I kept my skillet "not-too-hot" to prevent bacon grease from flying all over the place. Hubby really liked it. "Tasty!" I used the white wine and it added just the right touch. I thought I should have added a little more olive oil but he said no and thought it had maybe a tad too much grease. (Then again, he uses an eyedrop's worth of dressing on his salad, so what does he know?!!) Seriously. This recipe rocks. Definitely will make again. Thanks so much for sharing. :-)

Pizza Dough I
Just made this tonight. I used 2 cups of white flour and 1/2 cup wheat flour. I added a little Italian seasoning (but of course!) and a bit of garlic salt. (I'll probably use garlic powder the next time. It already had enough salt in it.) I also followed what others said about allowing the yeast, salt, and sugar dissolve in the warm water for 10 minutes. I then allowed the dough to rise for 50 minutes. It was very tasty and my husband said it was a winner! (He's pretty picky, too.) Thanks for the recipe!

Tasty Green Bean Casserole
Very good! I was excited to find this recipe because I did want a green bean casserole, but something with a little pizazz. My husband won a Honey-Baked Ham at work and this side dish perfectly complemented it. My husband (and stepson) loathe mushrooms, so I used Cream of Chicken instead. I also used 1/4 cup of bacon bits because I was in a bit of a hurry. I used green pepper instead of red and simmered both the onions and peppers in the butter. I then added the rest of the ingredients according to the recipe. It came out so delicious! My stepson has brought in his girlfriend for Christmas and she loves the "usual" green bean casserole but said she really liked this one! I was tempted to finish the leftovers but knew I'd look like a piglet! Definitely will make again. Thanks for sharing!
