This was my first attempt at making a fruit salad and it turned out great. I following some suggestions. I used only 20oz of cool whip and used a stick of cream cheese. I used less coconut and added a can of fruit cocktail and a couple of apples for texture.

I haven't tried this recipe, but I just tried something very similar. Instead of bacon it called for thin sliced salami, and to solve everybody's melting cheese running out of the jalapeno popper - use the salami to cover the hole in the top of the jalapeno and secure it with a couple of toothpicks! That would probably work with the bacon too if you didn't want to substitute salami.

Good. Not enought flavor (seasoning). Add tomatoe paste, garlic and some sort of a ckn rub or seasoning
