I am a teacher now after being in the business world for 20 years. I love cooking daily and I am also a singer, singing in a major chorus in Fort Worth. I am married, no kids, but a dog and two cats keep the house interesting. Pierre Franey was an inspiration to me and I love cooking quick gourmet French recipes and I also really get into cooking Thai cuisine. My grandmother was originally from Mexico, but learned cooking in the US during the depression, so I grew up with economical, but delicious food experiences. I remember when I was young cook, the thrill of creating my first white sauce! Now of course, more difficult dishes bring me pleasure such as a delicious fish salad made in the form of a large fish, a real party pleaser! I never could get donuts done right, alas!
