I've been married for 22 years to a wonderful man and together we have a beautiful 14 year old son. I love reading including cook books and I also like to keep in shape with kung fu and kick boxing.
My favorite things to cook
My favorite thing to cook would have to be a casserole, they always turn out good and they’re easy. You prepare everything the evening before and the next day after work you throw it in the oven and VOILA! Dinner is served. We were brought up on very basic food groups so I’m still learning how to use different veggies, fruit and stuff. I’m not fussy and neither is my family so I can try any thing I want. My next attempt will be artichokes sounds stupid but I have no idea how to cook it, or even how to take it apart.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My favorite family tradition would have to be Sunday brunch. I like to make my family a nice big meal Sunday morning and then we go for our Sunday drive.
My cooking triumphs
I don’t think I have an actual triumph but as long as they like what I make to me it’s a triumph. It probable helps that their not fussy. LOL
My cooking tragedies
Baking! Every tragedy occurred when I was a kid but always when I was baking. Probably the reason baking is my least favorite. They range from very runny frostings to way to much flour in a lemon square (3 cups to much) don’t ask. Yup baking is my least favorite.
