About this Cook
I am part time stay at home mom who took up cooking because eating out was too expensive. I have a wonderful little family, and nice big kitchen.
My favorite things to cook
I love to bake, I just made fresh bread for the first time and I want to more of that. I love getting a craving for chocolate and going and making a big cake or brownies or cookies and then I eat them! I also love to cook something really good that my husband takes to work the next day and his coworkers are jealous because it smells so good!
My favorite family cooking traditions
I love to swap favorite recipes with my family. When we get together it is all about food, we all love to cook and to eat.
My cooking triumphs
For short time to make money I baked muffins for a coffee shop near my house, everyone in the neighborhood loved them and I was for a while "the muffin lady"
My cooking tragedies
I made a nice Salmon dinner once only to realize that the Salmon I had cooked was bad. My house smelled of rotten fish for 2 days.

Swiss Chard with Garbanzo Beans and Fresh Tomatoes
This was amazing, I made it with Spinach because I didn't have chard, and it was great.

Texas Ranch Chicken
it was easy but kinda bland, I used about 2 Tablespoons of Ranch since we are trying to eat healthy. The sauce just didn't mix well with the juices from the chicken.
