I have been cooking since I was about 4 years old,that meal was not perfect ( fried steak on one side only), but it was a start. Cooking is something I have always loved to do. I also crochet and garden. my family is grown so I don't have to cook like I once did, but I like cooking almost everything. I like to try new recipes, and I do love cookies! I don't care for gourmet cooking. My grandmothers date nut cake and her wonderful mahogany cake,they were always there at christmas. Also my mothers chocolate pie. My mother is a wonderful cook. I can master ALMOST anything I try to cook. I said almost. Biscuits, they were like rocks, and pie crust, very tough. It took me a while but I finally learned to make those too.
