OK... I am not a big fan of dishes with "mushroom soup".. but this one was really good.. a little more time consuming than I expected (watch out you don't burn the chops.. I think frying them for 5 mins each side may be a bit too long!) I used Campbell's "Golden Mushroom" which was all I had.. and added some fresh mushrooms to the mixture (after chops had baked for an hour)and poured it over the baked pork chops. Served with another All recipes favorite "Garlic Asparagus with Lime" and a baked potato... and even my 7 year old was happy!

I was looking for a new way to cook asparagus.. and this is it!! I stuck with the lime and it gave it, along with the butter, a nice, rich flavor. And the 7 year old ate it (enough said!)

Excellent! I tried 3 of the other Flan recipes listed in this website and by far, this is my favorite one (so far). Didn't taste "eggy", the texture was good and the method with the water "bath" yielded a much nicer flan all around. It wasn't too sweet either. Where it calls for 1 cup of milk, since I only had fat free, I used a cup of "evaporated" milk.. I think next time I'll use 3 cups all together of the heavy cream. Nice recipe.. thanks!
