Pasta Lamb Skillet
About this Cook
I'm a freelance musician, and I'm currently working on my degree in ministry. My husband is a trombonist with the US Navy Band, DC, and we've been married for nine years. I love animals, and we have 3 cats and a dog.
My favorite things to cook
I grew up in an Italian family, so anything Italian is my absolute favorite. I really love cooking just about anything, and I've come to adore this website that holds everyone's family secrets.
My favorite family cooking traditions
The Italian Christmas feast! Fish, fish, fish with home made pasta on Christmas Eve and then Wedding Soup for Christmas Day.
My cooking triumphs
My best cooking triumphs have all come from All Recipies! Nothing makes me happier than preparing a wonderful and enjoyable meal for my husband, so I'll actually give the credit to all those who have submitted their favorite recpies to this great site.
My cooking tragedies
LOL! The truth is that I can't cook anything from a box. I guess I get into the swing of things, and I don't read or follow the directions very well! Perhaps that means I'm finally a true cook! I can follow and adapt any actual recpie to our personal liking, but I'm notorious for *forgetting* to read the water additive instructions on any boxed item!

Zesty Pita Chips
Delicious!!! I dipped mine in olive oil and then dipped again into the dry herb mixture. Hubby & I both raved! Next time I'll add some parm cheese into the mixture.

Irish Lamb Stew
Wonderful! I used leftover Easter lamb, so I didn't have as much, and I just scaled down the rest of the recipe. Added mint leaves, and the flavor was incredible. Definitely a keeper!

Baked Penne with Italian Sausage
Totally love it! I think I'll cover it next time I put it in the oven to bake, because the top of the pasta dried out. I love the fact that you can add in whatever meat you have so it's an excellent way to redo the leftovers.
