I am a happily divorced mom of 2 teenage boys (18 & 19) and ex-stepmom to 2 girls (13 & 20) for the past 12 years. I lost my mother 5 years ago to cancer but she did leave me with some great cooking secrets. Sad to say mom had skill but forgot to pass to me!! I'm a tad clumsy but I can cook!! :) Don't expect I'll be doing any demonstrations anytime soon~ I like to cook things that are fast and easy! New things are a favorite for me to try but sometimes not to my family! They like more than they dislike. I also love to bake! Gathering the family together on the Holidays....Also eating dinner as a family which is not done so much anymore in this fast paced world we live in. When a new creation or recipe comes together and looks like the picture! :) Chocolate chip cookies.... One day last year for some reason, I was unable to make a good chocolate chip cookie! No matter what recipe I followed, they turn out horrible. Not so much in taste but in texture. I have given up trying!! They turn our cake like NO MATTER what I do! I will never figure out what happened....It just happened and has not been right since. What I lack in chocolate chip I make up for in other cookies!!
