Dill Pickle Bread
I loved this bread. It made great toast and I also used it for sandwiches. It was soft and moist and wonderful. I substituted most of the water for pickle juice and I also added a bit of sugar to ensure that it would rise correctly. I don't have a bread machine so I made it the good old fashioned way. I do think next time I will either cut my pickles much smaller or perhaps run them through the food processor quickly because my chunks were a bit too large and kept falling out of the bread.

Two Step Creamy Cheesecake
This gets 5 stars just for the sheer fact that this was the easiest thing I've ever made and it seems wrong somehow for it to have tasted as good as it did. My 5yo daughter wanted to make cheesecake for Christmas dessert so I wanted something easy that she could help with and this was it!!! I'll admit it doesn't have that dense richness of "real" cheesecake but I'm willing to forgo that for convenience sake. It was creamy and delicious. The entire family loved it. My husband did say he found it a bit too sweet so I may cut the sugar down some next time but even that didn't stop him from eating more than once slice. Great recipe. I'll be making cheesecake more often now.

Pork Chops in Beer
I liked this recipe although it received mixed reviews from my family which is why it rated so low. My husband HATED it. He wouldn't even finish his porkchop. He said it was the most disgusting sauce he'd ever tasted. Meanwhile my 4 and 5 year old were dipping their side dishes (broccoli and mashed potatoes) in the sauce and my 4yo was even eating it with a spoon and wanted seconds on sauce. My oldest son said it was just so so. If I do make it again I would cut down the liquid to make a thicker sauce, it was very thin. But it reminded me of the sweet and sour sauce we get here when we order chinese takeout (almost the same color too lol). I thought it was pretty good but I don't think it's going to make it in my house.
