About this Cook
I just got married in Dec on New Yrs Eve and moved to TX from VA a month after. I miss living out in the country, I'm stuck in the city of Austin now. I love being outdoors, swimming or working horse. I have 4 horse but 3 are still in VA. I also enjoy sewing or attempting to and reading.
My favorite things to cook
Desserts! I love baking, cookie, cakes, pies you name it, I love it. I'm now trying to actually cook dinner most nights and it's not as bad as I thought it would be.

Slow Cooker Maple Country Style Ribs
Very good! I used 1/3 cup of the maple syrup and soy sauce when I did mine. Even my picky husband liked them and gave the thumbs up for making them again. I thought the flavor was good but it is somewhat mild so if you're looking for bold or spicy go elsewhere.

Slow-Cooked Cherry Pork Chops
Yummy easy way to do pork chops. I thought the cherries complimented the pork nicely. I didn't have the chicken bouillon but didn't miss it.

Scottish Shortbread II
Wonderful! Super easy to make and really really good. I baked at 350 degrees for 30 minutes and it was perfect.
