Slow-Cooker Chicken Tortilla Soup
I bought my chicken from the deli at the grocery store. They shredded it for me right there. Adding all the ingredients was no problem, just took a while. I didn't see that a can of chicken broth was required, but luckily had an extra can on hand. I followed the recipe exactly, not leaving anything out or adding extra (except for the baked tortilla strips). I probably could have bought already mashed or sliced tomatoes instead of whole, but they were no problem to mash. The soup turned out pretty good. If I were to do it over again, I might add a spicy green chile mix, instead of mild, and maybe more chicken broth. I ate it with whole wheat tortillas. This is definitely a good crock recipe:)
