About this Cook
I am a full time Mommy and Wife. I spend every hour of every day taking care of my beautiful kids and hot husband. So I cook breakfast, lunch and dinner and am always looking to try new things. My trick to keeping sain living a life meeting everyone else's needs is to cook what I like. Other than special occassions, birthdays ect. I cook what I want to eat. It make's it alot easier to be in the kitchen all day everyday.
My favorite things to cook
Mexican, dips, spreads, breads, anything with sauce, chili, grilled food...
My favorite family cooking traditions
Oh my! So many! Cooking Christmas cookies with my Mom when I was little, I now do that with my children. Having whatever you want birthday week. Big weekend breakfast with the whole family around the table sitting, talking and laughing forever. Taking turns saying our secret family prayer before all our meals.
My cooking triumphs
Well your asking the wrong person because I would go on and on and on....
My cooking tragedies
Pickled shrimp...thats not what there were but thats what the one person who had the gutts to try them renamed them...EEEEWWWWWW!

Jalapeno Popper Spread
YUM YUM YUM. Had this today and it was out of this world good. I did double the jalapeno's, next time I will not, just a little to spicy for me. And I baked it and served it with toasted french bread. But I am so glad I finally tried it, this is going into my recipe box. Thansk so much for the keeper.

Slow Cooker Mashed Potatoes
This was awesome. Everyone loved them some mashed potatoes last night. I did as others suj. and added Garlic and Herb Cream Cheese, garlic salt, oregano, Italian Cheese Blend and put a clothe over the pot before I put the lid on to catch the condensation off the lid. I will never make any other mashed potatoes again.

Marshmallow Brownies
Very good. Loved this, I only used marshmallows and butterscotch chips and I used box brownies. You just need to make sure you line your pan.
