My kids have always had box pancakes so I was not sure about them liking these...they loved them. It was a great way to use up the buttermilk leftover after I made butter with the cream from our raw milk. I would do again, but not so much. I put the extra, while warm, in a ziplock and froze for another time. That keeps the moisture in for a thawing in the microwave and warming in the toaster oven.

I made some butter from our raw milk, and wanted to use the buttermilk for something. These were good and I will do it again. They are very sweet, so if you so not like sugary cookies you might not favor them. I love them with the milk.

I used fresh apples instead of a canned pie filling. It was great! I took it to my MOPS meeting and had a request to put it on our Yahoo Group so they could all find it. Thanks!
