World's Best Lasagna
Oh my gosh, this recipe is SOOOO much better than the "high school cafeteria"-type lasagna recipe that's on the back of pasta boxes! The only thing that I did different was that I used my own spice combination in the sauce. I used (and I never measure, just add) oregano, basil, fennel seed, thyme, rosemary, and crushed red pepper. I also added a splash (or two) of red wine to the sauce. I also mixed a bit of extra parmesan cheese in with the ricotta cheese mixture. My very picky husband just loved it, so it must be good! This might take a bit more time to prepare, but it is so worth it!!!
