About this Cook
I'm 28, I have been with my husband for 8 years, and we have 2 kids together. I enjoy reading, writing, and trying new recipes on my family.
My favorite things to cook
I can cook anything I put my mind to. I have known my way around the kitchen since a very young age. My favorite cuisine so far is mexican.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I cook Thanksgiving dinner every year, for the past seven years. I try a new dessert and a new side dish every time. I really enjoy the family gatherings. That's who all the food is for, after all.
My cooking triumphs
I made a Tiramisu to die for once.
My cooking tragedies
I have yet to master the stuffing. It's just not my strong point.

Awesome Roast Beef
This was so easy I had time to throw everything in before leaving for work in the morning. My whole family had seconds. I added some sliced onion and a bay leaf to mine, and it was delicious. I made mashed potatoes and used the sauce for a make-shift gravy, the kids loved it!

Shredded Beef for Tacos
This was excellent. I couldn't find the hot tomato sauce that the recipe calls for so I used a can of regular tomato sauce, and added a splash of hot sauce instead. This wasn't too spicy for my kids and meat just fell apart. I will definately make this again.

Mongolian Beef II
I followed the recipe to the tee, and it was way too salty for my taste buds. I think if I make it again I'll use half the soy sauce, and maybe more brown sugar and sesame oil. It wasn't even close to the mongolian beef that I've had in restaraunts, but I think I can doctor it up a bit and it'll be okay.
