I'm a new attorney and a newlywed :) I'm looking forward to trying lots of new recipes as I start down this new path in life. Baked goods (I have such a sweet tooth). I've recently started making yeast breads with good results. During the week, I rely heavily on the slow cooker and quick meals, but I love to really go all out for our weekend meals. My mom makes the best baked mac & cheese, and every year when we were little we would ask her to make it for our birthday dinner. I consider it a triumph anytime I try a new recipe and it turns out the great on my first try. I set a glass dish on a burner on my electric stove, forgetting that the stove was still on. When I smelled something burning, I immediately realized what I had done and removed the dish, which shattered and sent glass and food everywhere.
