I am a mom of two beautiful girls. I am president of a local MOMS Club chapter. I love to experiment with cooking new recipes and finding new family favorites. I love to grill and I love to use the slow cooker even more. Simple, easy recipes are my favorite. When I want to make something more involved, I cook Middle Eastern dishes. I am pretty much self-taught. My mom worked full time when I was growing up so there was little time to cook together. My grandmother was a pretty boring...specializing in meat and potatoes. I cook with my 4 year old daughter. She really enjoys helping and it is great "together" time. When someone asks me for my recipe, I get really excited. It says that I have made a great meal! I can't think of one in particular, but anytime you have company and dinner just doesn't turn out the way you had hoped!
