About this Cook
I live with my boyfriend in Santa Monica, CA with our two cats, Melvin & Beefcake. At 27 I am finally starting to feel like a real adult! Since my boyfriend does not cook, I (try) to do most of it. I'd like to start making fancier meals!
My favorite things to cook
Since I've graduated college, I've mastered the following and only the following: my mom's tuna casarole, pasta with italian sausage, fried chicken and banana muffins.
My cooking tragedies
I recently tried to make a berry crisp and man oh man did that turn out horrible!! Maybe because I used frozen berries which had a lot more juice than fresh berries...but it turned out like a soup and ended up in the garbage.

Eggplant and Zucchini Casserole
Great casserole! I only give it 4 stars because I changed it a little. I did not use stuffing mix (good advice from another reviewer) and instead used Italian bread crumbs. I also used fresh basil, parmesan cheese and mozzarella instead of colby. Great idea though! The vegetables taste great together!

Baked Oatmeal II
Delicious! I had never heard of baked oatmeal before and I will definitely start making it a lot now! Listen to the MANY review suggestions! 1/3 cup of brown sugar is really all you need. I also did 1/4 cup of butter and 1/4 cup of mashed bananas. I shook a little nutmeg in there and a little extra cinnamon. Dried cranberries, raisins and walnuts...anything you like, really. YUM!

Good Old Fashioned Pancakes
I love this recipe and I use it almost every Saturday morning...! If I'm adding a few chocolate chips, I cut back a little bit on the sugar. The best pancake recipe!
