Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings
YUM! put fresh (uncut) chicken breasts at the bottom of the crock pot and seasoned them with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Then threw the diced onion, some diced celery and 2 cloves of fresh crushed garlic. Added the cream of chick soup and used 1 (14oz) can of chicken broth instead of water. (I think next time I may add a little bit of water too though). I let it sit for 4 hours on high and then added (1 can) biscuits and let it cook another 75 minutes. It was so yummy! I think this is a great starter recipe. You can add whatever you want (like peas, carrots, corn) and it will be delicious I'm sure! Thanks!

Chuck's Favorite Mac and Cheese
Great taste -but WAY too much bread crumbs! Next time I will try crushed crackers and use only 1/3 - 1/2 cup. Also, I think it would be better in a deeper, smaller dish. It was such a thin layer in the 9x13 that it was a little dry.

Cheesy Potato and Corn Chowder
Yummy, yummy, yummy! It was a cold and yucky day here yesterday and this was just what my husband and I needed! I threw in some leftover rotisserie chicken that I had and topped it off with bacon. Great with a big sourdough roll. Mmmmm. A new staple in our house!
