Shrimp and Feta Cheese Pasta

Reviewed: Sep. 9, 2009
AMAZING!!! I made this dish with no pasta. I made some couscous for a side dish. Also, the only other change I made was to add a small box of sliced fresh mushrooms. It is now a family favorite!

Best Hamburger Ever

Reviewed: May 15, 2009
Excellent-These were my only changes: used 1 lb. Lean beef, did not use an entire envelope of the onion soup mix, and did not put any onion. We're not big onion fans! Everything else I left the same. SO good!

Lime Chicken Soft Tacos

Reviewed: May 6, 2009
Amazing recipe! I only used 1 lb chicken and did not double the sauce. Next time I will marinade the chicken with the sauce and do a second portion of marinade to simmer the chicken in while cooking. Also, you only have to saute the chicken for about 10-13 minutes, not 20 minutes. SO GOOD!!!

Jenny's Grilled Chicken Breasts

I dipped 4 pieces of chicken breast in 1/2 cup lemon juice and then sprinkled each with garlic powder, ground black pepper (only on 1 side), Lawry's seasoning salt, and Italian seasoning. Then I grilled the chicken! So good!

Spinach Chicken Parmesan

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2008
Very good!! I added italian bread crumbs to the parm cheese, then coated both sides of the chicken with it and baked it for 15 minutes without the spinach mixture and then 20 minutes with the spinach mixture. I also added salt, pepper and garlic to the butter mixture. A keeper!

We loved this recipe! I followed the suggestions from the top rated reviewer, except I did not add the onion or garlic---I forgot!!! But I added Garlic powder at the end on top of the already rolled meatballs. Very good!

Asian Tuna Patties

Reviewed: Mar. 24, 2008
I love this recipe! I never add any sesame oil or green onions. I also add some extra teriyaki sauce, only put 1/2 tsp. of the black pepper, and 1/2 cup of the bread crumbs. I do not add corn starch. I add just a little bit of bread crumbs on the outside of each patty. Very good!!

Chicken Breast Stuffed with Spinach Blue Cheese and Bacon

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2008
I used 3 chicken breasts and pounded each somewhat thinner. I seasoned each with a little bit of salt, pepper, garlic powder, and olive oil. Filling: 5 pieces of crumbled turkey bacon (microwaved), about 1 TBS of light Mayo. (to make filling creamier), about 3/4 cup of blue cheese and about of 1/2 cup fresh spinach. Filled each chicken breast and closed with toothpicks and then sprinkled some milled organic flax seed on the outside of the chicken. Baked for 30-35 minutes. GREAT!!! AWESOME!!!

Mimi's Zucchini Pie

Reviewed: Feb. 25, 2008
Delicious! I followed the recipe pretty much to a T but I added 2 oz of Gruyere cheese (which I shredded) and 5 pieces of Turkey Bacon to the batter (crumbled). I did not add onions, rather I added some onion powder. Quick side note, I used the "Heart Smart" version of the Bisquick. It came out great & will definitely make it again!!!

Broccoli Beef Stir-Fry

This recipe was excellent!!! I mixed up the sauce ingredients but also added about a tablespoon of an Asian Peanut marinade. Once all mixed I poured sauce on 1 Lb. of beef and let it marinade for about 3 hours. It was a big hit with the entire family!

The Best Meatballs You'll Ever Have

Reviewed: Mar. 27, 2007
I made 20 meatballs out of the recipe. The only change on the ingredients I would make is add dijon mustard vs regular mustard. I did add 1 tsp of red pepper flakes but it's too spicy for kids so next time that would be my only change. I baked it at 350 for 2o mins and broiled them 5 mins and turned them over and broiled another 5 mins. VERY GOOD!!! We loved them!

Marinated Grilled Shrimp

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2007
I made a few changes, a little bit less olive oil, I used the basil, garlic, oregano tomato sauce, I added 1 tsp Worstershire sauce, 1 tsp. hot sauce to replace for cayenne pepper and I only had dried basil so I cut portion in 1/2 because dried is stronger. I only had 1 lb shrimp so I changed the servings to 4. Very good!

Dijon-Tarragon Cream Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 22, 2007
This is one of our family's favorite recipe! We love it! We did not change anything but if I was cooking the recipe for more than 2 adults and 2 kids, I would definitely double the sauce (1 cup cream, 2 tablespoons dijon mustard and 2 teaspoons of dried tarragon) any guests will love the sauce.
