My favorite family cooking traditions
We don't do turkey at christmas, we do a meet fondue with different meat and veggies. My mom's beer batter is soo good.. That reminds me, i have to get her recipie!
My cooking triumphs
Just had the in-laws over for dinner, I made hot and sour soup. You know it's good when everyone is dabbing their brows from the heat.
My cooking tragedies
I tried to cook a meal that I saw on the cooking channel. It was pork chops cooked in a mustard / hard cider mixture. When I added the cider, the resulting smell almost made me sick. I'm guessing I had the wrong type of cider because the smell was awful. Luckily I hadn't put the pork chops in the sauce yet, so all was not lost.
