I reduced the sugar to 1/2 cup, added additional red wine vinegar as I thought it was too sweet and not tangy enough. I really like the flavor that vinegar too. Next time I will only use red wine vinegar. I used cannellini beans (or white), garbanzo beans, red beans, geen beans, slice onion rings, I added chopped pimento that gave it great color, 2 diced garlic cloves, cayenne pepper, celery seed, S&P, and finally, McCormicks salt-free all purpose seasoning. It does a produce a lot of liquid, but that can be drained off after marinading sufficiently. Very tasty! Thanks
