Hearty Turkey Soup with Parsley Dumplings
Delicious..even the skeptics in the family, once they tasted it, enjoyed and went back for seconds. One bit of advice - the flour/milk mixture NEEDS to be strained while adding it to the stock...otherwise, you'll have pasty lumps to explain..giggle...(learned from experience)!

Walnut-Filled Pillows
I also switched the walnuts for almonds and used almond extract instead of vanilla. Additionally, I folded the corners of the square to create triangles instead of rectangles...they looked much nicer on the plate. These will definitely become a Christmas tradition with our family...

Southwestern Turkey Soup
I eliminated the roma tomatoes, cut up the whole tomatoes (next time I'll use diced), added leftover cooked corn, and chopped up half a fresh jalapeno pepper. It was spicy..serve lots of water...but de-lish! We garnished with tortilla chip bits (the stuff at the bottom of the bag) and used the monterey jack cheese in grilled cheese sandwiches...thanks for a really different way to use leftover turkey! Will definitely do this one again...
