Stuffed Green Peppers I

Reviewed: Jul. 13, 2007
Easy, awesome, gone. When you walked into the house, your mouth started to water. These are amazingly good.... I only changed one thing, and that is I added some tomato soup after I filled up the peppers part way. Will make again and again.

Best Lemonade Ever

Almost as good as the lemonade I love from chic-fil-a. I think I will try to make it with splenda next time. I followed the recipe to the tee.

Chicken Enchiladas II

Reviewed: Jun. 25, 2007
This recipe is awesome! I followed parts of the original and modified it according to what others suggested. Adding the chicken taco seasoning to the meat after it is cubed makes ALL the difference. My office said they could have eaten the chicken just by itself! I also used regular onion instead of green onion because it is what I had on hand. The flavor was fine. The only other thing I did differently is used fiesta blend cheese and instead of chilis, I used salsa verde. Using the can of salsa verde made this dish even more delicious. If you add more salsa verde, it will be spicier. Great recipe!!!!!

Chocolate Lovers' Favorite Cake

Reviewed: Apr. 8, 2007
This recipe is the bomb. I follwed the recipe exactly. I think probably if I didn't add all the chocolate chips, I would have done the satin glaze; however, it was perfect the way it was. Very moist. Will make again and again. Thanks for a great recipe!

Corn Dip

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2007
This was GREAT. I served it with tortilla chips and added 2 jalapenos for extra heat. I also added more sour cream than required and used frozen corn. For spices, I used chili, onion, and garlic powder to taste. This was so easy and so good.

BLT Dip

I made this for a St. Patricks Day party. It was the first thing gone. I did not add the tomatos, and I served with Fritos. A complete hit and SO EASY. A definite keeper!

Beef Tips and Noodles

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2007
Like others, I did not use stew meat, but used stir frying sirloin chunks instead. It turned out GREAT. Flavor was great. I did have a problem with the meat cooking all the way through. I should have cooked the meat prior to putting it in the oven. I served it over egg noodles. My boyfriend almost licked the plate! Will definitely make again.

Peanut Butter Cup Cookies

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2007
I ended up making these a little bigger and putting them in regular muffin cups because I don't have a mini muffin pan. They turned out GREAT!!! Everyone loved them. It was like a peanut butter cup cupcake almost! Will definitely make again.

Chicken Pot Pie IX

I made this without a bottom pie crust to save calories. It was great. I also threw in some cubed potatoes and some green beans (because I had them). It was a huge hit. Will definitely nake again.

Cake Balls

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2006
Ok, at the beginning, I thought this was going to be great. I froze the cake balls for 4 hours in a deep freezer. I put them in the melted chocolate--cake ball everywhere! Maybe I did something wrong here, but it was very disappointing. A great idea, but how you can get them to come out without falling apart is beyond me.

Chocolate Chip Cheese Ball

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2006
This was a huge hit. The kids and adults could not keep their hands off it. I served it with pretzels and graham cracker sticks. I also froze the mix for about an hour to make it really firm. It kept its ball shape for a long time.

Slow Cooker Stuffing

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2006
I have tried to imitate my grandmother's stuffing for years. This is almost identical to the taste of her stuffing. It was moist, just like it had been in the bird. A huge hit with the 30 people we served it to at Thanksgiving. I only had to use 1 box of chicken broth to keep it nice and moist. Will definitely make again. It was easy enough to make every time my family wants stuffing!

Cranberry Sauce I

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2006
I took the advice of others and used 1/2 orange juice and 1/2 water, used part brown sugar. This turned out wonderful. I also cooked it for about 15 minutes and it was perfect. Not too tart, but not too sweet either. The hint of orange was a nice touch. Will definitely make again.

Bob's Awesome Lasagna

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2006
This is the best lasagna I have ever eaten. I added some canned chopped tomatos to the spaghetti sauce and added some italian seasoning to the beef for more flavor. I also added one egg to the cheese mixture. My family loved this. Thanks Bob for a great recipe!

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2006
This was so tender and flavorful. To make it less salty, I left out half of the onion soup mix and added low sodium beef broth. It turned out great. I also chunked up some veggies and threw them in. Everything was perfect. I was even able to thicken up the broth and make a gravy. Out of this world!

Cinnamon-Roasted Almonds

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2006
The girls in my office ate this up! They say it tastes exactly like the almonds you smell in the malls at Christmastime. I sprayed my pan with Butter flavored Pam, but other than that, I followed the exact recipe. The smell of my house as they were cooking was divine! This would be a good thing to give to your co-workers/neighbors instead of the traditional christmas cookies.
