Easy Lemon Cookies

Personally, I didn't like these because they tasted like they were made from a cake mix. I think I am probably too picky because everyone else thought they were to die for. Very lemon-y and very soft.

Clone of a Cinnabon

These were good.... There was something missing in the frosting that wasn't QUITE like Cinnabon, but hey, they were still delicious. I maded them, then put them in the fridge and cooked the next morning because I didn't realize how many times they had to rise. I will make again for certain...

BLT Pasta Salad

Only OK. Not sure if I didn't use a "good" ranch dressing (I used Wishbone) or if it was something else. Just really bland and not worth the calories.

These were easy and good. I did not knead the dough, and I brushed tops with butter before AND after baking. They weren't the flaky kind of biscuit, but they were excellent anyway.

Lemon Coconut Squares

A great spin on regular lemon bars! I did everything just like the recipe said, but I added more lemon juice to make it tangy-er. It was great and they were perfect. I don't know why some people's ended up all mushy together. Mine turned out fine! I cooked them in a 9x3 dish.

Grandma's Egg Custard Pie

I rated this a 5. Personally, I don't like this pie because I don't like custard, but I made it for a man I work with whose mom used to make it and he said it tasted just like hers. I made the recipe exactly as written. He also said it tasted like K&W Cafeterias (and I guess that is a good thing!)

Pineapple Upside-Down Cake VII

I cooked this in a cast iron skillet. It turned out phenomenal and everyone loved it. I put some crushed pineapple on the bottom for more of a pineapple flavor and put in pineapple juice for water, but other than that--made it exactly as written. It was eaten up within 1/2 an hour!

Kentucky Butter Cake

It's good, but not the best. I have made much better cakes on this website. Honestly, it is thick kind of like a poundcake but without the flavor of a poundcake. Also, it was a little dry.

Orange Cake

I only changed a few things. I used a yellow cake mix and orange extract, and I poked holes in the cake so the glaze saturated it.... IT WAS AWESOME. I got so many compliments on it. I have to admit, it is the best.... You have to try it!

Southern Peach Cobbler

I followed the recipe exactly, except I didn't put cinnamon in the topping, but put it into the "cobbler" mixture. This was unbelievably good, better than my mom's. I couldn't believe it. You have to try this recipe even if you have a cobbler recipe. You will not be disappointed!

Country Fried Steak and Milk Gravy

Cream Cheese Pound Cake III

Based on what everyone else says, this was the best poundcake ever. I was not sure how to make one, but it still turned out great. I used my Kitchenaid mixer to incorporate all ingredients.

Gourmet Sweet Potato Classic

One word: YUM. I used 2 cans of sweet potatoes instead of baking them. It took out all the work and you didn't miss a thing in taste. Next time, I may add some oatmeal to my topping, but other than that, superb.

Very rich. I used Potatoes O'Brian like everyone suggested. It was good, don't get me wrong. I think next time I will crumble up bacon instead of using ham. It was so easy to make!

Good Old Fashioned Pancakes

A huge hit. The only change I made was to add vanilla to the batter. Came out perfect. I will never use boxed mix again! My boyfriend raved over these.
