About this Cook
My favorite things to cook
Dessert! I rarely make anything without chocolate, but there are a few things. I also have so much fun trying out new recipes, that I really don't repeat too many dishes unless they are tried-and-true fantastically delicious! Some of my favorite stand-bys are Snickers Apple Salad, Ginger Cookies (from Better Homes and Garden's cookbook), Spiced Pineapple Upside Down Cake (Taste of Home Cooking School 50th Anniversary Cookbook), Pasta Salad, Taco Soup, and Chicken Salad Sandwiches. I am also an expert Grilled Cheese Sandwich maker. :-)

Dried Cherry Cake
MMMMMMM...Incredible! So soft and moist - similar to pound cake, but not as dense. Definitely try it while its still warm!

Barb's Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Muffins
The texture was not at all what I expected (sponge-y), but it was a yummy treat! The chocolate chips really made it special. I think next time I would add cinnamon and cloves so it would taste more like a pumpkin pie!

Oatmeal Cherry Walnut Cookies
Absolutely to-die-for! They are amazing and were a huge hit with everyone who tried them. I will definitely be making these often!
