Wow! I've been cooking most of my life. I cook for my family and friends and often cook for all the teachers in my building! I'm divorced and have 2 grown children, 1 deceased child, and 3 grandchildren. Smothered Chicken, pot roast, cakes, pies, and any kind of soup! I would let my children stand on stools and cook while I supervised and helped. Now I do this with my grandchildren. My Italian Creme Cake is so good that all 7 principals at our school e-mail me begging me to make another one! I occasionally "stump my toe" when I'm salting food, and I have had more than one occurance when the food was basically inedible because of the salt!
