Grilled Salmon I

This marinade is so simple and tasty too. You can add additional flavors (ginger, fresh garlic, crushed red pepper, etc.) to your taste - but its terrific AS IS, too!! (works good on chicken as well....)

Slow Cooker Sweet Chicken Chili

Flavor was good - I would definitely NOT call this a chili though. Maybe Asian chili? When people tried, they were expecting that chili flavor - and I think were surprised when there was none. Got mix reactions, 6 breasts make A LOT.

Baked Haddock

I've done it changing a few things and straight up - great both ways. As is - its just a simple tasty recipe that allows the flavor of the fish to shine thru. I've subbed 1tsp garlic salt & 1tsp onion for the salt... still great!

Thai Shrimp and Cabbage

Good, simple meal. I didn't have cilantro (not a big fan, anyway) but the flavor was nice. I used purple cabbage (for a family function - thought it would look pretty) but if it sits/cooks for any length of time, it will turn gray... just an FYI!!

Sweet and Sour Sauce I

Keeper!!! Flavor is great - can be used as dipping sauce, sauce for meatballs, chicken - and versatile. You can adjust amounts and ingredients to suit taste - we liked it as is! (But i've added garlic, ginger and a bit of sesame to it, too!)

Cheddar Broccoli Frittata

Thought the recipe was great - even my 3 picky boys liked it. It was quick and easy. I used my own broccoli cheese soup that I had made from this site... so it served a "left over" purpose, too!

Zucchini Brownies

Great recipe - followed exactly and they came out great!!! You have to eat them sooner than later. They do get a bit soggy upon sitting, as I've found happens with any type of baked good/vegetable recipe... not that eating them quickly is too much of a problem!! :)

Thai-Style Peanut Sauce with Honey

I would not suggest removing the vinegar - it adds just the right amount of zip! The recipe can obviously be played with to adjust for the amount of heat and spices as per individual taste - but the recipe "as is" is terrific!!

It was good - but not the first thing that everyone went for. Flavor is good, I drained the bacon well, so it wasn't greasy or oily - but very salty.

Southwestern Egg Rolls

The peanut butter & cream cheese just dont have a good flavor together to me. I had to add more peanut butter, more sugar and a bit of vanilla. Probably wont make again.

White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake

I made this w/& w/out raspberry - came out fantastic both times. I did use seedless raspberry preserves - just heated & poured over - I think that real raspberries would make it even better - if that's possible!!

Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough + Cupcake = The BEST Cupcake. Ever.

These are very good - family LOVED them. Cooked exactly as said, but used "cookie dough" frosting(from others): 1 1/4c flour, 1/2tsp baking soda & salt, 1/2c soft butter, 1/2c sugar, 1/4c packed brown, 1/4c milk, 1tsp vanilla - blend butter/sugar, add liquids, then dry. stir in 1c mini chips & frost!! DELISH!! ;o) Update: I just made these again - when the sides of the cupcake look like they're drying and the middle still looks wet, they're probably done. DO NOT OVER COOK!
