Followed the recipe exact - they came out great. Tastes just like a banana muffin!!! I think that they'll keep well, too - I'm going to try shipping them off to college nieces!

Peanut Butter Brownie Pizza

The peanut butter & cream cheese just dont have a good flavor together to me. I had to add more peanut butter, more sugar and a bit of vanilla. Probably wont make again.

I made this w/& w/out raspberry - came out fantastic both times. I did use seedless raspberry preserves - just heated & poured over - I think that real raspberries would make it even better - if that's possible!!

Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough + Cupcake = The BEST Cupcake. Ever.

These are very good - family LOVED them. Cooked exactly as said, but used "cookie dough" frosting(from others): 1 1/4c flour, 1/2tsp baking soda & salt, 1/2c soft butter, 1/2c sugar, 1/4c packed brown, 1/4c milk, 1tsp vanilla - blend butter/sugar, add liquids, then dry. stir in 1c mini chips & frost!! DELISH!! ;o) Update: I just made these again - when the sides of the cupcake look like they're drying and the middle still looks wet, they're probably done. DO NOT OVER COOK!

White Chocolate Gorp

Good recipe - I'd change a couple of things. I reduced chocolate to 1lb. (I used Almond Bark & didn't find it too sweet. I used: 5c Crispix, 4c Pretzels & a handful+ more of Cheerios. I didn't add any pre-sweetened cerials. Next time I will add less of the Crispix and more pretzel. (The sweet/salty is good) My kids and niece ate almost 1/2 of it before I could put it in a container!! I think if I used 2lbs of chocolate, it would definately have been too sweet.

Smoked Salmon Chowder

Good base - I leave out the carrots and addtional green onion. I use chicken stock (I don't keep fish stock on hand) and use canned salmon. The corn really adds... the sweetness of the corn and the salty of the salmon - along with the dill... delish!!

Great recipe - I leave out the onion as others - the leftover rolls toasted in the AM with peanut butter aren't as tasty with the onion flavor! :)

Clam Sauce with Linguine

I gave it 5 stars because the flavor is great! The "juice" was a bit too juicy for us. I did thicken it a bit to more of a "gravy" consistency, and we loved it - definately will make again (and we added some red pepper flakes, too - we like ours with a bit of a bite!!)

My Best Clam Chowder

OK - needed more flavor. I used clam base and would have added bacon if it wasn't that its Ash Wednesday and we don't eat meat.... Probably won't make again. - I'll keep looking.

My Crab Cakes

These were a hit!! I used sweet onion (sauteed w/heaping tsp lobster boullion) and minced garlic (I also used 8oz imitation crab as we're on a budget- didn't have real crab on hand.) - and I sprayed with a bit of olive oil, baked at 425 for approx 7 min on one side, flipped for another 7-8 until golden. I will make again!!

This dough is so easy to make and comes out great every time!!! Make sure to check your expiration date on the packet of yeast - old yeast just doesn't work the same.

Chocolate Chip Cheese Ball

This goes over great at parties - its something different - not the usualy salty type stuff!! I would not suggest using fat free or reduced fat cream cheese for substitute - it completely changes the flavor...
