Mountain girl at heart my specialties are big hearty meals. I try to make new and interesting dishes now because I like variety. I am always looking for my next favorite food. My family, I am sure, doesn't always like this about me, but they appreciate my effort to enlighten all of our tastebuds. Complicated recipes. I love spending time in the kitchen working on difficult or time consuming recipes, it makes the end product that much more sweet knowing how hard I worked to prepare it. I also love trying new foods and flavors, it is always fun to see how they turn out. Our Christmas cookies, I love making them. My mom and my extended family would always make a ton and I have carried on that tradition. I make a wide variety every year even though my family is small now, but the cookies never last long.
