About this Cook
I am a 34 yr old mom of 4 who loves quick n easy stuff, but also loves to cook from scratch.
My favorite things to cook
I am 1/2 Italian and 1/2 German and love to cook the family recipes.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Traditionally, Christmas is an Italian family dish called bunyacada, which is like a cream soup. Its very rich and we dip Italian bread (or French Bread) in the soup. We also will put a tray of different veggies out, and use those for dipping also.
My cooking triumphs
I am mastering the art of home-made bread that actually rises...LOL (j/k)
My cooking tragedies
Umm, again, home made bread. Moreso that it ends up something similar to a brick, instead of light n fluffy.

Bunyaculta
I have learned that in the Italian countryside, it matters not what it is called, but that it is an awesome dish. My family has served this for years. We call it bunya cauda. I think it really just depends on the family for its pronunciation. We have substituted this for the traditional Christmas dinner. We tend to serve it with regular cabbage, bell peppers, cauliflower, broccoli and just basically our favorite veggies & italian bread. In my experience in making it, people either love it or hate it. Its all about the garlic! LOL
