About this Cook
I am a stay at home mom and I am broadening my tastes in my kitchen. I also am learning how to stretch my meals to accomodate more then one day.
My favorite things to cook
I love to make my own beef stew. I also enjoy making any kind of soup and baking with my kids.
My favorite family cooking traditions
We make cookies at least once a week in our house. There is always something in the cookie jar!
My cooking triumphs
I love having a meal on the table when my husband gets home from work, call me old fashioned! Every meal is a triumph, even if it is just pizza. I truely feel blessed to be able to cook for my family.
My cooking tragedies
One time I made peanut butter fudge but I forgot to add the butter so it got rock hard! I was craving it so bad (I was also 8 months pregnant!) and I just threw the whole pan in the garbage!

Slow Cooker Tender and Yummy Round Steak
Wonderful! I followed this recipe to a "T" and I had no problem of too much gravy. Great taste and so easy to make!

Slow Cooker Pepper Steak II
I thought this recipe was very easy to prepare. I followed it to the "T" and it was perfect. Once you change the recipe all around, it is not fair to give it a bad rating. I poured it over brown rice and it was absolutely delicious!
