Recently discovered that just because a recipe calls for a meat, vegetable or fruit doesn't mean you need to use that particular item...just remember the item density. Can remember my mom cooking for our family. I wish I would have observed more. Catching up. My greatest triumph occurred when I was stationed at Sembach Air Base, Germany. I was invited to a late night party and decided to bring along the 12 quart batch of 15 bean soup I had prepared. Just poured it into plastic cups. I receieved many favorable accolades that night. I have also been commended on my innovative Bread Machine baking and regular baking. I won't say what it was, but it was sooooo simple. I was distracted. Never again! OK!! It was scrambled eggs and cheese.
