This isn't me. :)
About this Cook
I'm a textbook editor in Orlando, Florida. Since my family consists of me and my husband, I don't have to cook a lot, but I am looking to improve and move onto more complicated meals.
My favorite things to cook
Just about anything with chicken. Also, any time I get to bake cookies, I'm a happy girl. In fact, I just bought a book about the best cookies ever.
My favorite family cooking traditions
We don't have many traditions regarding cooking in my family. Just the usual holiday kind of stuff.
My cooking triumphs
I'm new, so I don't have many. Just cookies and the simpler things. I really want to get better, though.
My cooking tragedies
Haven't had many yet. Then again, I haven't done much. I don't tend to expand outside of specifically what the recipe says to do.

Red Potato Chicken
This was good. Baked for a half-hour with foil and then a half-hour without. I also added some extra seasonings: garlic salt, rosemary, pepper.

Chipotle Shrimp Tacos
These were really good! Just incredibly spicy. Prep time was significantly longer for me, though, as I had to fry all the bacon and I didn't have precooked shrimp. I served with rice on the side.

Chinese Chicken Fried Rice II
I make this all the time! I love it, and it's very simple. While I normally use chicken, I used shrimp today instead. And it was lovely. :)
