I'm a happily married mother of three. I work full time in the restaurant industry. We live in Michigans beautiful Upper Pennisula. I come from a very large family. My mom made everything from scratch. I was 18 years old before I knew there was such a thing as "Hamburger Helper" and "Spam". I love my slow cooker. My kids call me the crockpot queen. I enjoy cooking a variety of things, but baking has to be my favorite. I love taking a recipe and tweeking it to make it my own. Holiday time baking with my girls and close friends. My mother started a tradition years ago by making gingerbread houses for all the kids and grandkids and its a tradition I plan to keep going. Hosting Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner for 20 plus people and having everything come out beautiful. Also I do wonderful things with a porkloin, white wine, garlic and fresh rosemary and thyme. There was an incident 15 years ago with an oreo cheesecake that my husband still remembers. I lost the recipe and decided to swing it by memory. Lets just say that it didn't work out too well for me!
