I'm 24 and live in Denver with my husband, who is a professional chef. I bake for both of our works, but we rarely cook at home. I love to bake anything, especially pies, cakes and cookies. In terms of cooking, I have deemed myself the casserole queen, as it is the only thing I can really make. My dad is a lover of "mish-mosh", where you put everything in one casserole dish and hope it comes out okay. I still remember my mother baking monkey buns at 5am on Christmas morning. I love seeing the look on people's faces when I present their birthday cakes. I was trying to impress my boyfriend and attempted a Chai Creme Brulee that turned out so badly that I hid it in a cupboard and wouldn't let him see it! We're married now, so maybe it wasn't all that bad :)
