Fluffy White Frosting

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2010
I’ve making this recipe since I was a young girl. Is my favorite type of frosting. I never use the cream of tartar and it has never been an issue. Like other reviewers, I always add ½ tsp. of almond extract. I also add a piece of lime peel (aprox ¼) to the sugar/water mix and retrieve it before adding it to the egg whites. It helps to diminish the eggy taste.

Superb! I followed it to the T. Double it as other reviewers suggested. No more boxed pancake mix in our house.

Fish Tacos with Honey-Cumin Cilantro Slaw and Chipotle Mayo

Delicioso!!! My husband and I are Berry Hill Fish Tacos at heart and these are the perfect competition. I omitted the cumin, because I'm not a fan, but the results were still perfect. Do not skip the sauce! Is the best part!!! Thanks for sharing.

YUM!!! This is a family and friends favorite. You can cut down calories by omitting the cream cheese and butter. The taste and texture is still the same but a few less calories. If you use a clay pot it will absorb most of the moisture and it will not get soggy at all :)

Merenges

When I saw Puertorican in the recipe I had to try it. I was not disappointed at all. These are exactly the same I use to eat at the bakery back home. They melt in your mouth. My only suggestion is that I left them in the oven with the oven off, until they cooled down. It helps in them to get completely dry before removing from oven. Thanks so much! :

Chocolate Mousse Cake IV

Reviewed: May 22, 2007
This has become one of my signature cakes. Made it for an MDA Bake Sale Fundraiser at work and it sold for $490.00 Breaking all records. The person who won told me it was worth every bite of it. The only problem is that when they ask for the recipe is embarrasing to tell them how simple it is to make. I love this cake. Thanks so much for sharing!

Broccoli and Ramen Noodle Salad

Great recipe! I used the Oriental Flavor Ramen Noddles instead. It adds it a great flavor to it. Also I used Wine vinegar and little less sugar as suggested by other reviewers. I have also used 3 packs of Splenda or Equal.

Clone of a Cinnabon

I never thought I could make cinnamon rolls from scratch or add anything to this recipe that could make it better than it already was, well this recipe proved me wrong twice because not only did I made them, but I think I improve the taste by simply adding 1/4 tsp. of almond extract to the icing. It really gave it the final touch.

Sugar Coated Pecans

OK I have made these so many times is not even funny. But my last batch hit the ball out of the park. Instead of cinnamon I used cayenne pepper for a twist and add them to my salad. Oh may GOD. They combination of sweet and hot was spectacular. I also follow previous revious and used a ziploc with the egg-wash and parchment paper to bake them. They are delish!!!

Easy Ice Cream Cake

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2005
I added caramel ice cream topping and pecans between layers for a complete indulgement experience. Decorated the top layer with 3 cherries. It took two boxes of ice cream sandwiches to fill the two layers.(I had two sandwiches left over) I used Blue Bell brand. It was the talk of the party. Everyone wanted the recipe. They couldn't believe it was so simple. My kids are begging me to make it but this time just for home.
