Not much to say, I work for the State of Vermont Department of Health as an Auditor. I have an awesome dog Jade, she is a 2.5 year old American Pit Bull Terrier. I have a little bit of a competitive streak in me, so my boyfriend likes to challenge me in the kitchen... which I'm starting to wonder if maybe he just outsmarted me and figured out a way to get me to make all kinds of fun recipes everyday. I like to try new recipes all the time, so I rarely make the same thing twice. Well my father was a cook, but passed away when I was 14 so I never really learned any traditions from him. Didn't get into the cooking thing until the last couple of years. I'm still learning, but I'm willing to try any recipe at least once... I consider every enjoyed successful meal a triumph! However, potatoes are my favorite thing and I have an entire recipe book just for potatoes. My boyfriend hates them, so I was ecstatic when I finally found a mashed potato recipe that he actually LOVES! Cheese cake... enough said.
