My husband and I grew up in Colorado and LOVE green chili. This was really good, but not as good as my father-in-laws recipe (hence 4 stars). I made it in a pressure cooker (25 min/15 lb pressure). We didn't add the cream cheese.

White Chocolate Snack Mix

This was good. BUT....our family still prefers the sweet snack mix. It is the same base ingredients, but instead of white chocolate coating, it is a caramel mixture. (3 c brown sugar, 1.5 c butter, 1/2 c corn suyrp boiled together for 3 min)

Curried Rice Pilaf

I made this tonight and it was a hit. It smelled and tasted *wonderful*!. only changes I made were to use 1/8c butter and 2t curry powder. Will be making again. Note: the almonds and raisins were good...but even if I had left them out, the rice would have been great itself.

White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookies IV

Very yummy,....but not to die for. Be careful not to overbake...they turn hard very quickly. The dough was actually better than the cookies.

Garam Masala Seared Salmon with Coconut-Curry Butter

Very good. Everyone like it, no one raved. Might make again. I would not make this with Salmon again...not good enough to justify the cost. There are much better salmon recipes out there. This may be good with another fish or chicken.

Kiki's Borracho (Drunken) Beans

I do not like beans. My husband does not like beans. But...my kids love them. So I made these. Ans they are WONDERFUL. I am converted. Cooked in a slow cooker for ~12 hrs.

Oyako Donburi

All three men in the house (two of which are 6 and 8) enjoyed this. It only made enough for the three of them. There were no raves about how good it was and my husband even added some ginger sauce to his.... hence the 4 stars. Good...but not great. (I did not add mushrooms as my husband hates them.)

Salmon with Creamy Dill Sauce

Very good. Will make as a change of pace from the salmon recipes with soy sauce. I would have liked a stronger dill flavor in the fish and not just in the sauce. Everyone cleaned their plates (even the kids).

German Sweet Chocolate Cake I

The cake is just OK. I would not eat it alone and will not make it again (far to labor intensive for a just so-so cake). However, the frosting was out-of-this-world!!!! It was extraordinary! Next time I plan to make the frosting and use it on a different chocolate cake.

Rainbow Clown Cake

Taste was OK...box cake mix. The coloring idea was great. My 6 year-old LOVED it! I would not make it for the taste alone. But the idea and end product is worth it.
