I am a recent graduate of the University of Southern Maine where I received a degree in Music Education. I have just accepted a position in Berwick Maine where I will be teaching general music and band for grades 4-6. I like to cook many things and I am willing to try just about anything. I do cook a lot of one-pot dishes as it is really easy and works on a tight budget. Well, we have a couple, I grew up having a family gathering around Christmas where we had homemade Lasagna and other Italian dishes. We also have the traditional ham on easter and turkey on thanksgiving, but it is the family gatherings that really makes the holidays. There is quite a bit , non that really stood out, I am still trying to perfect my cooking style. Well I made chili once with dried beans and did something wrong to the beans because they were hard as a rock in the chili even after I soaked them and they sat in a crock pot for several hours. We ended up trashing the entire batch of chili. The sad part is is that it wasn't the first time I made chili.
