I grew up in a large Italian family in Philadelphia, so there was always some type of cooking going on. I recently got married to a US Marine who was raised in the South so i'm expanding my cooking to a whole new type of food. My favorite thing to cook is meat balls, i love to play around and try different spices and ingredients to put in my meat everytime, my husband loves it too. My worst cooking tradgedy would have to be when i first moved to North Carolina, and i went from a gas stove to an electric stove. My father had sent down some Venison steaks and i wanted to broil them, so i placed them on a cooking sheet and seasoned and dressed them. I set the stove to broil and left the room for about 20 minutes, came back and they were completely burnt. So burnt they were stuck to the pan i had to leave the pan soaked for about a week in order to finally be able to scrape off the char.
