Hoagie Dip

Reviewed: Oct. 15, 2009
Mixed feelings about this dip. I mixed all the ingredients except the mayo and tasted it and loved it! Then I added the mayo and was dissapointed- I just don't think the flavor of mayo goes well with hoagies. Philly hoagies are made with oil and that's what I'm used to and love. I may make this again, but I'll leave out the mayo and top the bread rounds with the mixture before serving, like a bruschetta topping, instead of serving it as a dip.

Buffalo Chicken Dip

Reviewed: Sep. 17, 2009
I made a couple changes to this recipe and I think it tastes better my way. I cooked two boneless, skinless chicken breasts and chopped them up instead of using canned chicken. Also, used 1/2 ranch and 1/2 blue cheese dressing instead of all ranch. I love this dip!

Hot Artichoke and Spinach Dip II

Reviewed: Sep. 17, 2009
Delicious!! This dip went the fastest out of all the appetisers I offered at my recent party. The only change I made was to use sharp cheddar cheese in place of the mozzarella.

Cinnamon Coffee Cake II

Reviewed: Sep. 8, 2009
Delicious!! Very moist cake and sweet, crunchy topping/filling. I baked this in a bundt pan and sprinkled some of the topping into the bottom of a well greased bundt. It stuck a little so grease well if you do this. Next time i will definitely replace half the oil with applesauce like other reviewers did.

Bruschetta II

So simple and absolutely delicious! With a recipe this simple, you need the freshest, ripe tomatoes and fresh basil. I added minced garlic.

Sweet and Crunchy Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 9, 2009
I love this salad. Just made a few changes- used shrimp flavor ramem, fresh chives, a touch of sesame oil and only cashews. I added the cashews and ramen just before serving so they stayed crunchy. Next time I'm going to try adding shrimp for a more substantial salad.

French Potato Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 9, 2009
This was very good, with a few changes. I used wine vinegar and fresh tarragon, left out the consomme, added vidalia onion and roasted red pepper and a bit of dijon mustard. Delicious!

Chocolate Covered Cherries

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2007
These taste great! My only dissapointment is that the fondant has not turned to liquid like people say it will. I've had them stored for two weeks now, and it's still white fondant surrounding the cherry. Any one know how long it takes for them to liquify? Still, they are very tasty. I had to dip them twice for the bottoms to get completely covered with chocolate.

Peppermint Patties

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2007
These were delicious!! The filling is a bit firmer than the real thing, but tastes just as good. I found they were very easy to form and dip. As long as the disks are dry they hold together great.

Mini Cheesecakes I

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2007
I've made this recipe twice, using crushed oreos instead of vanilla wafers. Both times they tasted wonderful. My only complaint is that they sink in the middle. I like to leave some without fruit topping for people who prefer them plain, but they really don't look very nice with the large dip in the center.
