About this Cook
I'm 27. Married on August 4th 2007. I have two beautiful children. Alyssa and Christopher. 15 pets - 4 cockatiel, 4 budgies, a cat and 6 fish.
My favorite things to cook
I love trying new things. My favorites always lean towards asian cooking, sea food, desserts and vegetarian dishes.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I cook - hubby cleans *woo hoo*
My cooking triumphs
I was baking cookies and cakes on my own by the time I was 8. Cooking full meals for my family by the time I was 12 (pasta, stir fry's, pork chops, veil, chicken and beef etc).
My cooking tragedies
I tried making a home made lemon meringue pie from scratch, and used bottled lemon juice instead of fresh lemons - it was the most embarassing and foul thing I had ever served.

Steamed Lemon Grass Crab Legs
Absolutely YUMMY!!! These remind me of the crab legs at a local chinese food buffet - but MUCH more delicious!

Quick Tuna Casserole
I was skeptical when I saw the recipe, but I knew I had to throw something together for a quick dinner yesterday. Everyone loved it. I doubled the recipe for a family of 4 for dinner and leftovers for the next day (today).

Baked Kale Chips
I LOVE these. I first tried them and even though I followed instructions they had burnt - and tasted awful. I didn't make them again for a couple of months. But now to prevent them from burning, I place parchment paper on my cookie sheet and bake at 200F until dried out. They're super tasty!
