I've made this recipe many times now, following other reviewers advice to halve the mushroom soup and water content but stick with the whole onion soup packet. It's great! I often use a pork shoulder roast just because its cheaper and I still love it.

Yummy! My 2 year old wouldn't even attempt which is no suprise as she is a strict bread and cheese kind of girl but my husband and I loved em! I also used less lemon juice and used baby carrots (very easy.) I boiled them for about half an hour (make sure water doesnt boil out.) I'll be putting this on our families plates again and again.

I've made this a few times now, both just for our family, because it's easy, and for company because it's delicious and gets great reviews. I, like others, just threw in regular raisins instead of buying sultana ones. Thank you for the recipe, it's different from our norm.
