Actually, this pie is wonderful. It's just missing the 4 teaspoons of tapioca, which is an absolute staple for pies with juicy fruits, as it absorbs the excess juiciness. I'd encourage the previous raters to give it another shot :)

These cookies turned out PERFECT! I couldn't be happier. I live in Argentina, where classic chocolate chip cookies (big, chewey, buttery) simply cannot be found. And now all my Argentinian friends have been converted into CC cookie fanatics after their first bite! Chocolate chips don't exist down here, so I had to buy and chop up chocolate bars, and I couldn't find brown sugar either. But, to compensate, I used "dulce de leche" pudding mix (of course :)...Wow, what a flavor! I also added the salt and extra vanilla. Thanks for such a fabulous recipe.
