About this Cook
I have always enjoyed cooking but never really had the time until I retired about 3 years ago. I enjoy spoiling the special people in my life by serving delicious meals with artful presentation. email: lindahamnermayo@sbcglobal.net
My favorite things to cook
Anything Italian! Pretty desserts!
My favorite family cooking traditions
Turkey stuffing; Dump Cake; Pumpkin Cake; St. Patrick's Day Feast
My cooking triumphs
Italian Meatloaf; Mexicali Stuffed Peppers; Hubby's Favorite Pork Chops
My cooking tragedies
Lasagna with bechamel and marinara sauce. Spent hours on this dish because it sounded so wonderful and ended up very disappointed with the blandness. Preferred my own recipe which doesn't require all the labor intensity this recipe had.

Chicken with Asparagus and Roasted Red Peppers
I have made this many times. It is quick, easy, delicious and low in calories! Thanks!

Panettone Bread Pudding with Spiced Orange Sauce
I made this for a Christmas dinner party and boy was it a hit! I wouldn't change a thing! It is so rich you could probably serve this to a least 8 people instead of the stated recipe yield of 6 servings. This will be my go-to dessert! Thanks for sharing!

White Cheese Chicken Lasagna
Love Love Love this recipe. It is a bit labor intensive but soooo worth it! I followed other recommendations: Used 1/2 bag fresh spinach (stems trimmed; chopped; not cooked); added crumbled bacon; added diced zucchini; used oven ready lasagna noodles; made 1 1/2 times the sauce. I made this the first time for my son's birthday 2 weeks ago and it was a big hit with everyone.
