Butterscotch Cake I
This is SO easy, and SO good. The sugar on the top is the best! When my husband takes this to work as a treat, it is gone in a flash. I have made with with chocolate pudding and a chocolate cake mix, vanilla pudding and orange cake, and the butterscotch. It is endless as to the number of combinations that can be made with this. I put this in a 9x13 pan and it works fine. Just test it with a cake tester or toothpick to make sure it's done.

Kevin's Sausage Dip
Good but with changes. I made the recipe and thought it was a little blah. I did not use the spicy sausage because the couple I was going to share it with cannot eat real spicy stuff but did use the Rotel tomatoes. I put in 2 - 8 ounce packages of cream cheese, a little garlic and still thought it was missing something besides the spice from the sausage. I added a cup of the four cheese blend Mexican style cheese and some fresh style salsa from the deli. Perfection. Our friends couldn't say enough good about it, they are still talking about it weeks later. They wanted the recipe saying it was the best ever, one to take out on the boat. Definately a keeper, a great base recipe that could easily be changed to your personal taste.

Fabulous Fudge Chocolate Cake
AWESOME sums it up! It is a heavier textured cake, with the best flavor! I am not normally a chocolate cake lover, I made it for my husband. I can't leave it alone! I took the advice of putting in five squares of chocolate, I wouldn't go any less. I didn't have all unsweetened chocolate so I used three semi-sweet and two unsweetened, which worked perfect. I also used the Buttercream frosting found here instead of the Caramel Icing. I wouldn't change anything else! SPECTACULAR!!! Looks like no more cake mixes for me, this is WELL worth the little bit of effort it took to make. :) Enjoy!
