My favorite things to cook
BBQ, casseroles, one pot meals, breads, soups. New recipes with new ingredients. I love to grill meat
My favorite family cooking traditions
I remember every Sunday my mom would cook fried chicken, mashed potatoes, white gravy. With that in mind I try and make every Sundays dinner a planned meal with all the fixins.
My cooking triumphs
The first time I bakes a cake and it came out of the pan clean LOL. MANY years my daughters birthday cake was filled in with frosting.
My cooking tragedies
Thanksgiving morning I got up early to put the Turkey in and found the heating element burnt in 2! I chopped up the turkey and tried to BBQ it, lol charred on the outside raw on the inside.
