Peach Ice Cream
Excellent. I cut the recipe in half so it would fit into my Cuisinart Ice Cream maker. Still had some left-over, so I let the kids make "ice cream in a bag" (put the ice cream mixture in a ziploc, and then put that inside a ziploc with ice/salt mixture...shake). I liked that I didn't have to make a custard on the stove... so this was so much easier. I think next time I'll use 1-1/2 cups of sugar vs. 1-3/4 cups (half recipe), as it was a little too sweet. Delicious nonetheless! Perfect summertime treat.

Ground Beef Curly Noodle
This was very easy and surprisingly yummy. I browned a whole onion with the ground beef..and added salt, pepper, and Worcestershire Sauce. I used two packaged of Ramen noodles, but only one seasoning pack. I also added a cup of water with the noodles as there didn't seem to be enough liquid. Delicious. :)

Fava Bean Breakfast Spread
My husband is Egyptian and we make this (ful) at least once per week. Usually, we sautee the onion and tomato in some olive oil first... then add the garlic... then add in the rinsed, canned beans. Mash them with a fork. And let cook. Add salt & pepper, cumin, and 1 T or so of tahini. A little lemon and parsley to finish. Divine. Really good served with eggs too... hard boiled are more traditional, but we also do sunny-side up and poached. The yolky-bean mixture is yummy.
